Privacy Policy

At GTA Asset Recovery, your privacy is our priority. This policy outlines how we collect, protect, and handle your information during the forensic investigation and recovery process.

1. Information We Collect

To conduct a successful blockchain investigation, we collect two types of data:

  • Case-Specific Data: This includes Transaction IDs (TXIDs), wallet addresses, the amount of loss, and the narrative of the incident.

  • Personal Identification: Your name, email address, and phone number, which are used solely for communication and to verify your legal claim to the lost assets.

  • Technical Data: We automatically collect standard web data such as your IP address and browser type to ensure the security of our website and prevent fraudulent case submissions.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information for the following purposes only:

  • Forensic Analysis: Mapping the flow of stolen funds on the blockchain.

  • Identity Verification: Ensuring we are working with the rightful owner of the digital assets.

  • Law Enforcement Liaison: If you authorize us, we share our forensic findings with relevant authorities or exchanges to facilitate the freezing of assets.

3. Data Minimization & "The Seed Phrase Rule"

  • No Private Keys: GTA Asset Recovery will never ask for, store, or process your seed phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords.

  • Minimal Retention: Once a case is closed and the legal retention period (as required by the 2026 Clarity Act) has expired, we purge all sensitive case-specific data from our active servers.

4. Security Standards

We treat your data with the same level of security used by high-end financial institutions:

  • End-to-End Encryption: All communication through our case submission portal is encrypted using 256-bit SSL.

  • Air-Gapped Analysis: Highly sensitive forensic mapping is performed on air-gapped systems that are never connected to the public internet.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & Global Standards)

Regardless of your location, GTA affords you the following rights:

  • The Right to Access: You may request a copy of the forensic data we have gathered on your behalf.

  • The Right to Erasure: You may request that we delete your personal information (name/contact info) from our database, provided there is no ongoing legal requirement for us to keep it.

  • The Right to Rectification: You can update any inaccurate information provided during the initial submission.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We only share data with:

  • Exchanges/VAsPs: When necessary to identify a "cashing out" point for stolen funds.

  • Law Enforcement: Only when you have provided explicit consent or when we are served with a valid legal subpoena.
