Victims of crypto theft are often targeted by "Recovery Scammers"—predators who promise to "hack the thief" for a fee. If you are looking for help, watch for these three red flags:

The "Software Fee": If a service claims they need you to pay for a "special recovery tool" or "gas fees" upfront in crypto, it is a scam.
Instagram/X (Twitter) Shills: Real recovery firms don’t lurk in comment sections saying, "Contact @BlockWizard on Telegram, he helped me!"
The Seed Phrase Ask: No legitimate recovery firm will ever ask for your 12 or 24-word seed phrase.
